Mardin City, lies on lies on the southern slopes of a broad highland that rises to an elevation of 3,450 feet (1,052 metres) and overlooks extensive limestone plateaus in the land of Fertile Crescent, Mesopotamian plains.
Artuklu District, The historic city centre of Mardin, As the city itself is an open museum, with its traditional houses and monumental constructions, in an aesthetic, historical and architectural point of view to walk around those narrow passages that have the boundaries of high courtyard walls.
In the very heart of the Artuklu district, an abandonned structure in disuse which surrounds an internal courtyard has been restored and reinvented to be turned into new spaces of a hotel.
The historical places,full of precious distinctive identity, harmoniously and precisely combine to the comfort and to the refined and elegant design in harmony of anatolian-mesopotamian heritage and pure modern elements.
The Hotel develops horizontally all around the courtyard, characterized by 3 buildings, surrounded by eleven rooms, the reception hall and a passage to access five other rooms in east complex.
